Make a call

Tap yellow for a warning, red for a penalty, or green for recognition. Personalize adds a name and a reason. Save people and favorite reasons to speed up your next call.

Hear the whistle

Open the gear → Settings & help. Enable Reveal sound for future cards, or tap Preview whistle. Turn off Silent mode and check your iPhone volume. Connected headphones/Bluetooth may be the audio destination. Yellow and red use a whistle; green uses a short chime.

Timers

Red timers are optional and independent. Open Penalty box to see everyone serving time. End or overturn a call whenever you like. Clocks retain their end time while the app is closed, but Officiain’t does not send background alerts. Changing the device clock changes the remaining time.

Sharing and presentation

Display, in the upper right of a card, opens presentation mode with larger text. Presentation mode keeps a Whistle button at the bottom of red and yellow cards. Tap it for one blast, even when automatic Reveal sound is off. It respects Silent mode and device volume. The sliders icon returns to the same card’s controls without restarting its clock or adding another count. X stays in the upper left and closes the card. Share creates a still image with the displayed name and reason, so check those details before choosing a recipient. Show again reopens the last card from the current session without creating another penalty.

Privacy and deletion

The privacy policy is in Settings & help. Remove people from their edit screen and saved reasons with the trash button in the card composer. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading does not. Manage backups and copies you shared separately.

Reusing reasons

Your last three nonempty reasons are saved automatically when you show a card or save personalization. Recently used appears in both reason editors, with the newest reason first. Tap one to fill it in; this keeps the selected card color. Reusing a reason moves it to the front without creating a duplicate. These suggestions stay after you close the app. Clear removes the recent list; saved favorites remain. Use Save current reason in the composer to keep a phrase in Saved reasons, directly below the reason field. Saved reasons are shown for the selected card color. Tap one to reuse it or its trash button to remove it; recent reasons stay separate. Unsubmitted drafts are not added to recents.

Compact person tallies

Saved people show their latest reason and its count below their name, such as Dropped the ball ×3. Counts include new red, yellow, and green cards with an explicit reason. Reusing the same reason is matched without case differences. Unlinked typed names and blank reasons do not count. Choosing a saved person in Personalize attaches that call to their tally.

Showing the same card again or adding minutes does not add another count. Editing its reason or saved person updates that call's attribution; overturning removes it. Ending a clock keeps the count. From the person's edit menu, Reset tally clears all their reason counts while preserving timers and saved reasons. Older cards cannot restore reset counts. Counts begin with calls made or personalized after this feature is installed; prior calls cannot be reconstructed.
